Bridesmaid Flower Alternatives

Posted for on 10 May, 2009 under the category: Basingstoke Weddings, Wedding Flowers

One of the issues for a bride is how the bridesmaids will cope on the big day.  For a young child it can be a stressful time being in the centre of things.  Some bridesmaids will handle themselves wonderfully, where others will drop or damage their delicate flowers, which in turn, could cause a tearful moment or two.

Paula from Flowers by Paula has come up with some lovely alternatives to help avoid a tear-stained bridesmaid and her dishevelled  poesy.  Her wired hearts are a relatively inexpensive device that can then double up as a keepsake and a lovely decoration for  a young girls room.  It can be decorated to match the brides flowers or personalised especially for the individual bridesmaid.

Another favourite is the wand, a small hard wearing device that the children can wave till their heart is content.

Bridesmaid Wand

A bridesmaids wand is small, robust and able to withstand hours of waving.

These lovely designs, are a slightly more child proof alternative, to the more traditional bags and pomanders that Paula already creates for weddings and are ideal for those with young attendants at their Basingstoke wedding.
